Dream Pop Envelope Album

I hope you had a wonderful and safe 4th of July. As promised here are the pictures taken of the roommate gifts I made using Dream Pop paper packet. I created a mini album using Kraft Die Cut Cards and Envelopes, Z1474, that will soon be discontinued after this month.

Since we were going to Disney I had to create the cover featuring Mickey Mouse. I cut the letters using CTMH glitter paper. Mickey Mouse character was cut out using Cricut Cartridge Mickey and Friends.

Here I hand stamped the background on the left using Universal Background stamp, D1477,  and the camera from stamp Sightseer, C1534. The chevron pattern was from For Always Paper Packet.

I hand stamped image using April's Stamp of the Month, My Sunshine- S1304, in Slate ink. The baskets were part of the paper packet top page border. I also used Paradise Baker's Twine secured with glue dots.

In between the two pages is an open slot to allow for more space for pictures, hidden journaling, and other keepsakes. Again the flaps are secured with Dots & Loops. The left side of this this album the pattern paper was in fact hand stamped using Sightseer, C1534. I used various images from this stamp set using Slate ink.

Let's take a look at what's inside the envelope/album cover...

I used scraps of paper from the paper packet. Great right?

The back cover was simply made. But the textured pattern paper doesn't really need any additional adornment. The blue polka dot paper was not from Dream Pop but from last year's special called Dotty for You. To secure the album I used Color Ready Seam Binding Ribbon, Z1732. I adhered this ribbon underneath all mats and this allows it to hold securely while allowing me to tie it into a bow holding this mini album closed.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures to this mini album. I think they came out lovely. It was truly a labor of love for the four ladies I created similar ones for. To order the products found here visit my store at http://FrancisAmes.ctmh.com.
